OBAMA WAFFLES?! This is ludicrous!
The products were on display at the Values Voters Summit that was hosted by a conservative Christian group.
I don't care whose side you are on, but this is taking it too far. it is outlandish and OBVIOUSLY bigotry.
What do you think of this? Do you think that there should be some consequences for this?
Yes this is ridiculous. Let's face it: many WHITE people cannot view BLACK people above our historical role to society: domestic and/or service oriented jobs.
ReplyDeleteSo to compare a Harvard alumni to Aunt Jemima, the mainstream mascot for the "mammy" character: a domestic servant of African descent, generally good-natured, often overweight, and loud is ludacris. Now I'm not downplaying any Black women that earned an honest living working as a domestic for a white family.
However, I am downplaying this comparison of Barack Obama to a domestic. Its sad, he deserves to be compared to someone on his level.
